Czech ZOO
Our objective is to generate more interest in original Czech breeds and to support their survival. Traditional breeds are disappearing quickly not only from the farms and pastures, but also from our minds. Original cattle breeds are being replaced by high-profit cross-breads, which are more resistant to stress, bring more profit and are suitable for intensive large-scale farming technologies.
However, original Czech breeds constitute part of our cultural heritage and we are directly responsible for the maintenance and handover of this heritage to our successors.In our riding hall, we have begun to build an exposition of original Czech cattle breeds. Currently, you will find here Hucul horses, Czech Red cattle, Czech Vallachian sheep (Agatha and Paja) and rabbits of the Czech Spotty and Czech Red breed. The last arrivals in our "Czech" family were two white short-hair goats. We are constantly working on the expansion of our Czech ZOO - so you can look forward to new arrivals!
